Marcus Tennant joins Global Strategic Technology Marketing Center

In January of this year, Marcus Tennant joined our IA Global Strategic Technology Marketing Center where he will function as a Principal Systems Architect. Tennant brings a weatlh of experience in batch automation and the chemical industry to the group. Prior to joining Yokogawa, he spent 10 years at Rockwell Automation where he worked as a Software Product Manager for a wide variety of industrial automation products. Prior to that, he worked as a process and project engineer for Morton International and as a Process Engineer and R & D Chemist for Jones-Blair Company.

Tennant will be working out of Dallas, Texas, where he will report directly to Dr. Maurice Wilkins. He can be reached at marcus.tennant@us.yokogawa.com.

Yokogawa joins United Nations Global Compact

Yokogawa joined the United Nations Global Compact in January of this year. The organization is a voluntary corporate citizenship initiative consisting of ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption. Yokogawa is the 76^th participant in Japan.

PC Blocks for biotech and pharmaceutical applications

Many biotech and pharmaceutical applications require the measurement of pH and conductivity in very low volume samples to help determine purity and quality of finished products. Our PC Flow Block assemblies were specifically designed to achieve accurate pH and conductivity measurements in these types of applications.

They units are constructed from FDA grade Polypropylene material and can be fitted with a variety of 316 SS Tri-Clamp connections.

ARS (Advanced Reflux Sampler)

The new ARS (Advanced Reflux Sampler) is designed to provide conditioning for severe service analysis needs using a simple self-contained, two-stage system. The first stage is designed to provide filtration of particulate and passive cooling. As the sample reaches the second stage, it is directed through a transition piece which channels the air evenly across two active cooling elements.
